Sandboxes

Open Data → Sandboxes at /labs/sandboxes to work with a separate scenario view of Workspace data. A Sandbox starts from an authorized Company Schema view, and each edit creates a retained revision. A branch can diverge from an earlier revision without changing live Records.

The Sandbox purpose is bound at creation. Its transforms and data access remain checked, and its evidence labels do not bypass those checks. Archive stops later edits while retention and legal hold still determine when the evidence may be removed.

If a branch head changes during an edit, read its current revision and compare the difference before trying again. The Sandbox read contract returns its current state and references. Experiments and evaluations explains how a study uses retained scenario evidence.
