CLI

Install the public CLI, inspect its native commands, and prepare for credentialed Workspace operations.

The CLI lets you read and change Workspace data from a terminal. Public acquisition is Available. Install the reviewed release with pnpm add --global @merulan/cli@0.1.0. It provides the merulan binary. Clean installation, --help, and --version passed on September 17, 2026.

Live operation is Preview. Authenticated production execution and authoritative readback have not been qualified since the infrastructure was hibernated.

Set up access

When live access is restored, sign in through the CLI's browser device flow or API-key login. Login verifies the credential before storing it. A browser approval alone is not proof that the CLI has verified access.

Keep credentials out of shell history and scripts. Select the Workspace for your command and check that your account has the required access. Workspace membership owns that access. The CLI does not grant it.

How the CLI works

Commands group reads and changes by resource. The CLI reference gives the exact command, required arguments, and options. Use its full synopsis rather than guessing a flag from an API field name.

The API (HTTP) reference owns HTTP request and response contracts. Native command availability has its own admission. An API method does not prove a CLI command is released.

First command

Start with an existing List that you can read. Follow Get a List and supply its List id. Inspect the returned identity and compare it with the List in the Console before scripting a change.

Lists and membership explains what that List contains. Save identifiers from readback rather than from display names.

When it fails

CLI authentication failed

Check the credential and finish the supported sign-in flow. Do not reuse an unverified credential or turn an authentication failure into an empty result.

Production operation is unavailable

The public package can still be installed and its commands inspected. Wait for live qualification before depending on production execution. A local server does not qualify the public service.
