Dashboards

Dashboards save queries, layout, and actions while the source services continue to own data and access.

A Dashboard is a saved view of Workspace data. Open Analysis → Dashboards at /dashboards to see saved views, or open a Dashboard to read its current results. A builder can create one at /dashboards/new and edit its layout at /dashboards/[dashboardId]/edit.

The Dashboard definition holds its queries, layout, and actions. Saving a layout makes that definition current. The service behind each query still owns its Records and checks the viewer's access. Sharing the Dashboard does not grant access to its data.

If a Dashboard uses an outside provider, its publication has a separate revision and verification result. Read that result before treating the provider view as current. Data, writeback, and schedules explains why a displayed value, an action, and a delivered report require different checks.

To inspect the saved definition, use the Dashboard read contract. To create one, use the create contract.
